James Robertson
James Robertson spent twenty years in Pixar's celebrated and beloved story department, where he storyboarded Oscar-winning features and Emmy-winning series. His credits include Toy Story 3, Monsters University, Finding Dory, Coco, Soul, and Win or Lose, films that together earned billions at the global box office.
James also worked extensively in Pixar's Development Department, where new films are born. He partnered with directors at the earliest, riskiest stage of production: finding the story, building the pitch, and securing the green light.
As a Story lead, and Senior story artist at Pixar, James helped build and lead story teams, with a focus on mentorship, communication and support for both individual contributors and film leadership. His knowledge of film, story structure and scene mechanics, gained from years working with the finest Writers and Directors in the medium of animation is an asset to any film.
